The Italian Serie A league & Ligurian league have banned the betting on games between Serie A and Serie B.

    This will affect the two Serie B sides, Fiorentina and Bologna, which are the biggest in the league and are currently in the final of the Champions League.

    It also means that the Serie A clubs that are still in the last eight in the domestic cups will have to put their bets on a league where they have no realistic chance of winning.
